Letheshome is very concerned about the quality of its products and services.

However, if you are not satisfied with a product, regardless of whether it is defective or not, you can always return it.

We thank you in advance for your better understanding and we remind you that for a faster resolution of your case, you should take into account the following simple procedures at the time of reception:

www.letheshome.pt may request the assessment of the claim by a technician, with the customer making himself available for this assessment within a reasonably short period and always within the warranty period.

Return acceptance conditions

1.2.1
The customer has the right to return the purchased products whenever one of the following situations occurs:

1.2.1.1
The products delivered have manufacturing deficiencies detected and reported within the warranty period (see point 8 of the Terms and Conditions).

1.2.1.2
The delivered products have deficiencies caused by transport to the assembly site, detected by the customer at the time of receipt or assembly.

1.2.1.3
The delivered products do not comply with the technical specifications indicated on www.letheshome.pt or do not reasonably serve the purposes indicated on www.letheshome.pt, with the customer making a claim for these anomalies within a maximum period of 14 days from the date of receipt of the article.

1.2.1.4
Within the scope of the right of free resolution (article 10, nº 1 of DL 24/2014 of 14 February) the customer can return the products without having to justify the reason for the return, provided that he expresses his intention by registered letter sent to the head office. from Letheshome (Vianatece Artesanato Tecelagem Lda., Zona Industrial do Neiva, 2nd Phase, 4935-232 Neiva, Portugal) within 14 days of receiving the order. In this case, the return is considered the responsibility of the customer.

1.2.2
Product returns are carried out under the conditions indicated below:

1.2.2.1
The customer must ask www.letheshome.pt to pick up the item at the address where it was delivered.

1.2.2.2
In accordance with article 13, nº 2 of DL 24/2014 of February 14, www.letheshome.pt will debit the cost corresponding to the collection and possible disassembly services of the returned products under the conditions indicated in 1.3. 

1.2.3
The customer agrees to keep the products he intends to return in the condition in which they were delivered, with the original packaging in a reasonable state of conservation in order to allow their resale.

1.2.4
Returned products must contain all accessories delivered, including assembly manuals, hardware and tools included in the price.

1.2.5
In the case of an exchange, if the cost of the new order is higher, the user will have to pay the difference, adding to the exchange request the payment of the remainder or making it when picking up the new order.

 

Charges with the return

1.3.1
In the case of a return under the responsibility of the customer under the terms of point 1.2.1.4, the customer accepts without any restriction that the products supplied in "Kit" that require assembly, carried out by our technicians or by third parties, suffer in this process a wear that changes the its initial supply characteristics.

1.3.1.1
The resale of these products can only be carried out at a significant discount. In the case of a return under the responsibility of the customer, the customer accepts that www.letheshome.pt deducts from the refund, an amount corresponding to the devaluation suffered by the good in the assembly process, 25% of its value in new. 

1.3.2
In the case of a return that is the responsibility of the customer, www.letheshome.pt will charge the transport costs. 

 

Refunds

1.4.1
Whenever there are refunds of amounts paid by the customer, www.letheshome.pt undertakes to make every effort so that they are carried out as quickly as possible and within a period that never exceeds 30 days.

1.4.1.1
Within 14 days from the date on which www.letheshome.pt is informed of the decision to terminate the contract, www.letheshome.pt will reimburse the consumer for all payments received, including the costs of delivering the goods to the pursuant to paragraph 2 of article 13 of Decree-law 24/2014 of 14 February (amended by Law no. 47/2014 of 28.07).

1.4.1.2
Payments will be refunded using the same payment method used by the customer in the initial transaction, unless expressly agreed to the contrary and provided that the customer does not incur any costs as a result of the refund.

1.4.1.3
www.letheshome.pt is not obliged to reimburse additional delivery costs when the customer expressly requests a different and more onerous delivery method than the commonly accepted and less onerous method proposed by www.letheshome.pt

1.4.1.4
With the exception of cases in which www.letheshome.pt offers to collect the goods, the withholding of the refund is only allowed while the articles are not received or as long as the consumer does not provide proof of the return of the article.

1.4.1.5
When the article delivered to the customer's home at the time of the conclusion of a contract concluded outside the commercial establishment, cannot, due to its nature or size, be returned by post, it is up to www.letheshome.pt to collect the article and bear the respective cost. .

1.4.1.6
Failure to comply with the reimbursement obligation within the period provided for in paragraph 9.4.1.1, obliges www.letheshome.pt to return double, within 15 working days, the amounts paid by the customer, without prejudice to the customer's right to compensation for property and non-property damage.

Rescheduling of Deliveries

1.3.1

All our deliveries are prepared at least 48 hours in advance. In case you wish to reschedule your delivery after confirmation by our services, www.letheshome.pt does not guarantee the availability of stock and reserves the right to charge the costs corresponding to the reorganization of the preparation, logistical and administrative processes indicated in 6.5. 1 

Delivery services use the usual accesses to delivery addresses (e.g. stairs, interior elevators) and passages in existing openings (e.g. doors and stairs). They do not use additional transport or lifting machines or make any changes to the construction of buildings.

1.4.1
In the event that the delivery services verify a high risk of damage when transporting the products to the place of delivery or assembly, they may advise against carrying it out. In this case, if the customer intends to contradict this advice, the transport will take place under his responsibility and risk, and www.letheshome.pt will not accept costs that result from damages resulting therefrom.

 

Delivery Anomalies

1.5.1 
Anomalies of the customer's responsibility:

In the event that delivery is not possible at the address or date indicated, for reasons of your responsibility and without an attempt to reschedule within the deadlines indicated in 6.3.1, the products return to the distribution warehouse under the following conditions:

It will be eight days at your request to reschedule the delivery or assembly, and at the end of this period, www.letheshome.pt considers that the customer is willing to cancel the delivery.

The costs of canceling or rescheduling the delivery will be those resulting from the captivation of stock (immobilization of stock to your order for the excess period), transport (Return of products to the warehouse and new displacement for delivery), administrative processes (cancellation delivery notes and invoices issued and production of new transport and invoicing documents) and warehouse logistics (car unloading, storage in the warehouse, new preparation and new loading), with a minimum of €30.00 less than 30% of the order value.

1.5.2
Anomalies under the responsibility of www.letheshome.pt

www.letheshome.pt makes every effort to meet the delivery deadlines it assumes with customers. In the event of unforeseen circumstances that lead to non-compliance with the delivery of the article on the date confirmed by www.letheshome.pt, the customer may choose to reschedule the delivery to a new date or, alternatively, to terminate the contract at no additional cost, with all amounts delivered under the terms indicated in 9.4.

The customer must verify upon receipt that the products that have been delivered are in accordance with his order and with the conditions agreed for delivery and that they do not have manufacturing and transport defects.

Anomalies in Deliveries

Anomalies of the customer's responsibility:

In the event that delivery is not possible at the address or date indicated, for reasons of your responsibility and without an attempt to reschedule within the deadlines indicated in 6.3.1, the products return to the distribution warehouse under the following conditions:

The costs of canceling or rescheduling the delivery will be those resulting from the captivation of stock (immobilization of stock to your order for the excess period), transport (Return of products to the warehouse and new displacement for delivery), administrative processes (cancellation delivery notes and invoices issued and production of new transport and invoicing documents) and warehouse logistics (car unloading, storage in the warehouse, new preparation and new loading), with a minimum of €30.00 less than 30% of the order value.

Return acceptance conditions.

9.2.1
The customer has the right to return the purchased products whenever one of the following situations occurs:

The delivered products have deficiencies caused by transport to the assembly site, detected by the customer at the time of receipt or assembly.

The products delivered do not comply with the technical specifications indicated on www.letheshome.pt or do not reasonably serve the purposes indicated on www.letheshome.pt, with the customer making a claim for these anomalies within a maximum period of 14 days from the date of receipt of the article.

9.2.1.4
Within the scope of the right of free resolution (article 10, nº 1 of DL 24/2014 of 14 February) the customer can return the products without having to justify the reason for the return, provided that he expresses his intention by registered letter sent to the head office. from Letheshome (Vianatece Artesanato Tecelagem Lda., Zona Industrial do Neiva, 2nd Phase, 4935-232 Neiva, Portugal) within 14 days of receiving the order. In this case, the return is considered the responsibility of the customer.

9.2.2
Product returns are carried out under the conditions indicated below:

The customer must request to www.letheshome.pt the collection of the article at the address where it was delivered.

In accordance with article 13, nº 2 of DL 24/2014 of February 14, www.letheshome.pt will debit the cost corresponding to the collection and possible disassembly services of the returned products under the conditions indicated in 9.3.

9.2.3
The customer agrees to keep the products he intends to return in the condition in which they were delivered, with the original packaging in a reasonable state of conservation in order to allow their resale.

9.2.4
Returned products must contain all accessories delivered, including assembly manuals, hardware and tools included in the price.

9.2.5
In the case of an exchange, if the cost of the new order is higher, the user will have to pay the difference, adding to the exchange request the payment of the remainder or making it when picking up the new order. 

9.3
Return charges.

9.3.1
In the case of a return under the responsibility of the customer under the terms of point 9.2.1.4, the customer accepts without any restriction that the products supplied in "Kit" that require assembly, carried out by our technicians or by third parties, suffer in this process a wear that changes the its initial supply characteristics.

In the case of a return that is the responsibility of the customer, www.letheshome.pt will charge the transport costs. 

9.4
Refunds

9.4.1
Whenever there are refunds of amounts paid by the customer, www.letheshome.pt commits to make every effort to ensure that they are made as quickly as possible.

9.4.1.1
Within 14 days from the date on which www.letheshome.pt is informed of the decision to terminate the contract, www.letheshome.pt will reimburse the consumer for all payments received, including the costs of delivering the goods to the pursuant to paragraph 2 of article 13 of Decree-law 24/2014 of 14 February (amended by Law no. 47/2014 of 28.07).

9.4.1.2
Payments will be refunded using the same payment method used by the customer in the initial transaction, unless expressly agreed to the contrary and provided that the customer does not incur any costs as a result of the refund.

9.4.1.3
www.letheshome.pt is not obliged to reimburse additional delivery costs when the customer expressly requests a different and more onerous delivery method than the commonly accepted and less onerous method proposed by www.letheshome.pt

9.4.1.4
With the exception of cases in which www.letheshome.pt offers to collect the goods, the refund is only allowed to be withheld while the items are not received or as long as the consumer does not provide proof of the item being returned.

9.4.1.5
When the article delivered to the customer's home at the time of the conclusion of a contract concluded outside the commercial establishment, due to its nature or size, cannot be returned by post, it is up to www.letheshome.pt to collect the article and bear the respective cost .

9.4.1.6
Failure to comply with the reimbursement obligation within the period provided for in paragraph 9.4.1.1, obliges www.letheshome.pt to return double, within 15 working days, the amounts paid by the customer, without prejudice to the compensation for property and non-property damage.

Litigation and Liability

For any dispute arising from the application of these General Conditions of Use and Sale, a court of the district of Viana do Castelo will be competent, waiving any other.
